5 (a) An object of height 2.0 cm is placed 3.0 cm in front of a concave mirror. If the height of image is 5.0 cm and virtual image is formed, (i) sketch and label a ray diagram to show the formation of the image. (ii) calculate the focal length of the mirror. [7 marks) (b) A convex mirror has a focal length of 8.0 cm. If the image is virtual and the image distance is one third of the object distance, calculate the (i) object distance. (ii) magnification of the image. [4 marks) (c) The image of a 20 cents coin has twice the diameter when a convex lens is placed 2.84 cm from it. Calculate the focal length of the lens. [3 marks]
