IV. Procedure Part 1: Connecting bulbs in series 1.5 V 1.5 V 1. Create a circuit using two batteries, one LED, a switch, and any necessary wire modules. Include a resistor) 2. Close the switch and observe the brightness of the bulb. #HA 3. Using a multimeter, get the vD ge and the cht passing through the bulb. 4. Record the data in table 1. 5. Calculate for the resistance and the electric power consumed by each bulb/load as well as for the whole circuit. (Use the formula for power and resistance from Ohm's Law) 6. Do the steps 1-5 two more times while adding an additional light bulb/load each time. (Add an additional LED (in series) every trial) 7. Fill out the computed values using the formula for power and Ohm's law. Use the theoretical values of voltage and current Part 2: Connecting bulbs in parallel 1. Create a circuit with two LED in parallel, as shown in the circuit diagram. 2. Compare the brightness of the bulbs in this circuit to the prior circuit with two bulbs in series. # F 3. Using a multimeter, get the voltage and the current passing through each of the bulbs. 4. Record the data in table 2. 5. Calculate for the resistance and the electric power consumed by each bulb/load as well as for the whole circuit. 6. Do the steps 1-5 two more times while adding an additional light bulb/load each time.
