In the US, we've had many regulations (laws) enacted to control
medications and drugs (e.g., 1906 Pure Food and Drugs Act; 1914 The
Harrison Narcotic Act; 1920 Volstead Act; 1933 Repeal of Volstead
Act & Prohibition; 1970 Comprehensive Drug Abuse Prevention
& Control Act; 1986 Anti-Drug Abuse Act, etc.). Of the
regulations mentioned above, which do you think were:
(a) least effective and why?
(b) most effective and why?
(c) should we have more or less regulations on medications and
