3. Mr. Incredible gets tired of replacing broken cables, so he decides to build a 30 m radius banked track for Dash to run on. a. Draw the free body diagram for this situation. b. What forces act as the centripetal force in this situation? c. What angle, with respect to the horizontal, should he make the track so that Dash runs at full speed of 200 mph in circles without the cable friction. Your answer will be really steep. d. However, the track can't actually be frictionless. Dash would never be able to walk up it to start running. When considering surfacing materials for the track, what is the minimum coefficient of friction to just keep Dash from slipping if he walks up the slope from bottom to top? The track is really steep, sou will be ridiculously high. e. In winter, Dash quickly discovers that he can sled down the slick banked incline. If he starts at the top which is 10 meters above the ground, how fast will be going at the bottom? (Assume that there actually is negligible friction between the snow and the waxed sled.)
