Explain the following basic concepts about diversity antenna schemes for overcoming narrowband fadding: 1. (10%) What are the two basic requirement for using diversity schemes effectively? Give your strong justifications. 2. (10%) How to describe the correlation of two antennas and why the correlation is important from time domain and spatial domain point of view? 3. (10%) Assume the two antennas on a mobile base station are surrounded by scatterers uniformely. Sketch the normalized correlation of the two antennas vs. the separation distance (in terms of wavelength): a) if the two antennas are ominodirectional in horizontal plane; b) if the beam width of each of the antennas in horizontal plane is about 60°.
