1. Part-1 RC Circuits 1.1 a) Firstly, calculate the time constant of the circuit. Then, construct the circuit given in Figure-1. Make sure that 5-V input voltage is disconnected. Connect your oscilloscope probes to output terminals. Switch on the the 5-V and record the oscilloscope screen of the output voltage V. b) Replace the DC source in Fig. 1 with a signal generator. Apply 5 Vpp square waves with varying frequencies (1-20kHz) to the RC circuit. Observe the input and output waveforms by oscilloscope and take recordings of one cycle for each frequency.
