1. Part-1 RC Circuits 1.1 a) Firstly, calculate the time constant of the circuit. Then, construct the circuit given in Figure-1. Make sure that 5-V input voltage is disconnected. Connect your oscilloscope probes to output terminals. Switch on the the 5-V and record the oscilloscope screen of the output voltage V. b) Replace the DC source in Fig. 1 with a signal generator. Apply 5 Vpp square waves with varying frequencies (1-20kHz) to the RC circuit. Observe the input and output waveforms by oscilloscope and take recordings of one cycle for each frequency. Also measure the maximum value (Vmax) of output voltage that can be reached for each frequency. Please note your findings in Table-1. Table-1 Vmax Frequency (kHz) 1 5 10 20
