The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations are
intended to ensure that health and safety issues are
properlyconsidered during a project’s development, so that the risk
ofharm to those who have to build, use and maintain structures is
reduced.
Discuss fully, the focus placed on the design function and the
role of designers generally and of principal designers in
particular, in ensuring the health and safety of a construction
project.
