2. A parabolic three-hinged arch spanning 200 feet with a rise at the midpoint of 30 feet is loaded by a uniformly distributed load of 3 kips/foot and two concentrated 120 kip loads, each acting at a horizontal distance of 75 feet from the supports (the first concentrated load at a horizontal distance of 75 feet from the left support and the second at a horizontal distance of 75 feet from the right support). Calculate the horizontal and vertical components of the reaction at the supports. Then, calculate the resultant of the horizontal and vertical components of the reaction and check whether it is tangential to the arch at the support.
