Question 4: 'Rapid hardening cement', 'low heat cement' and 'sulfate resisting Portland cement are special types of cement manufactured for some special applications. Through one case study, discuss how these cements can be used to benefit the industrial applications. You can use any type(s) of the above cement in your case studies. The mechanism related to the case study must be clearly identified. You should carry out a comprehensive literature survey to support your discussion in the coursework. Case projects MUST be clearly provided and supplemented with figures and diagrams. The case reported must be fully based on industrial applications where the cement is used in a real construction project.
