31. Mrs Hilltop is an 82 year old woman admitted to the rehabilitation unit following a surgical repair of a right fractured Hip. She has poor vision and has recently been diagnosed with bilateral cataracts. Prior to admission she was independently managing at home. Currently she is requiring assistance with all activities of daily living (ADLs) except eating. She is unable to bear weight on her right leg, so assistance is needed to transfer to the toilet, chair or bed. She also needs help bathing and dressing her lower half of her body because she cannot reach her legs or feet. a.
