Determine the moment modification
factor αm for the
segment AB in the below steel
beam. The steel beam is sitting on top of the beam
provides a full (F) restraint of the cross-section to the
lower steel beam. Also, assume that the ends of the beam
are fully (F) restrained by the support connection.
