QUESTION 3 A beam to beam joint in bolt connection of single side cleat type is shown in Figure 3. Verify the shear resistance, bearing resistance, and tearing resistance of the connection on the secondary beam. The bolts are M16 class 5.8. The downward force of 1XX KN is acting on the joint. The secondary beam is UB 305 x 102 x 25 kg/m in S275 steel grade.
