Using Peg 1 in your block as station 1, four corners of a
proposed building: P, Q, R and S have been set out in the field
(refer Figure 2 on Page 4 of the Practical 3 information sheet).
The four sides of the building set out, namely PQ, QR, RS and SP
have been measured using tape in the field. The diagonals PR and SQ
have also been measured using tape in the field. In this document,
these tape measurements have been provided for each group.
Using the information given in Practical 3 information sheet,
you have to calculate the length of the sides of the building such
as PQ, QR, RS and SP and the diagonals PR and QS. After calculating
these distances, please compare the calculated values with the
corresponding tape measurements in the field.
You can use the following hints:
Note: Ignore the distances E, F and G.
Solve;
1.) Whole circle bearing calculations

2.)Calculation of Eastings and Northings for P, Q, R, S
3.) Coordinates results
4.) Calculating the Lengths
5.) Measured distance vs calculated distance
6.) Distance Error
