muestion 12 ot yet nswered Marked out 11 LM is a 38-year-old newly diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. She has HTN for 2 years and is obese (BMI: 36 kg/m2). Her family history shows that she has one brother who has diabetes. Her current medications are hydrochlorothiazide 25 mg daily, lisnopril 10 mg daily. Her laboratory examination results show the following: HbAlc: 8.3% and FBG: 245 mg/dl, Liver and kidney function tests are within normal limits. LM has started to implement dietary changes and exercise, but after 3 months he is still having HbAlc reading of 7.3% mg/dL.
