Cases Analysis 1 • ABC Ltd with its place of business in Shanghai distributed sets of catalogues of its products with their listing prices. XYZ Ltd with its place of business in Sydney sent ABC a fax requesting it to ship 10,000 pairs of shoes listed in the catalogue, but did not mention the price. ABC Ltd, however, did not ship the shoes to XYZ Ltd because the price had gone up. Please advise XYZ Ltd. 1) Did ABC Ltd breach the contract? 2) What if ABC Ltd sent the shoes to XYZ Ltd when the price had gone down?
