Differentiate between elastic and inelastic price elasticity of demand and supply. Demonstrate relative elasticities of demand and supply graphically. Synthesize how the impact of policy decisions relates to elasticity of demand and supply. Assignment Instructions For this week's assignment, assume that the supply of low-skilled workers is relatively elastic, but the employers' Hemand for low-skilled workers is relatively inelastic. If the policy goal is to expand employment for low-skilled workers, is it better to focus on policy tools to increase the supply of low-skilled labor or on tools to increase the demand for low-skilled labor? Follow the steps below to answer this question: 1. Create a supply and demand diagram that demonstrates the relative elasticity of supply and demand for low-skilled workers. Label everything clearly including all curves and axes. Feel free to use your own graphing strategy or see the Graphing Template page in the Orientation module. 2. On the same diagram, demonstrate the policy tool you think will work best at expanding employment for low- skilled workers (increase supply or increase in demand) 3. In the explanation box (if you are using the template), explain why you chose this policy referring to the relative elasticity of each curve and the overall impact of your policy selection on quantity of low-skilled workers who are employed 4. Upload your graph with your explanation here. Note: If you are using the graphing template above you can include your explanation in the text box beneath the graph and simply upload your image. If you are using your own strategy, you may need to insert your graph photo into a text response here along with your text explanation. Not sure how to do that? Learn how to embed vour image
