Among the adult residents of an economy, 1,400, 000 were
employed full time,
14,810 were employed part-time, 700, 000 were housewives, 84,000
were full time
students, 630 were retirees. The balance 42,000 were willing to
work but not working, and only 40,000 of them were actively
searching for job.
Calculate the labour force participation and the unemployment
rate in the economy.
