Question 2 (35 marks)
a) Three months later, 2 famous dancing groups in Hong
Kong, "Miller" and "Super Lion" are going to have a basketball
event in your sports venue with a capacity of 2,000 seats. As a
sports venue manager, you understand that the 2 groups of fans are
so crazy for their idols, and they are in intense rivals against
each other, which may trigger the risk of crowd disorder inside
and/or outside your venue. There are FOUR protective measures you
could apply to risk management, what are these and how would you
apply these measures to the potential crowd disorder? (8 marks)
b) What kind of normal scenarios / unwanted incidents
could happen from the crowd that you can imagine before, during and
after the event? Please list EIGHT pairs of incidents and solutions
to explain your knowledge of security planning. (8 marks)
c) There is another upcoming event in which the operation
style is very different from that in scenario 2a. You now have 2
newly hired officers who are both in the appropriate rank to handle
these 2 rentals. You consider taking time to know them well before
deciding to appoint the event-in-charge to each of them
accordingly. Please explain the FOUR aspects you would consider to
understand someone’s behavior (8 marks), and in what way you could
obtain such information so that you will deploy the tasks by
