Write a persuasive email of around 250-300 words with the information provided in the question paper. Background You, Melody Lee, are the Supervisor in the Sales Department of Prestige International Company. Due to the pandemic, your company has been adopting the work-from-home (WFH) policy from time to time. Recently, it has been brought to your attention that there are some problems in your team: a) it is found that some irresponsible colleagues who just joined the department are not performing their job duties during working hours b) there is some hostile discrimination against recovered COVID-19 patients in the department c) the team spirit is fading as your team has ceased communication with one another when the WFH practice has become routine, which is disappointing to you You and the manager are very concerned as these problems will detrimentally affect the department's overall performance as well as the senior management's trust on your and the manager's ability to supervise and lead the team well, especially during this critical time of the pandemic. These problems will also cause delays in handling sales projects and customers' complaint cases. Your Task After having a meeting with the manager, you have decided to write a persuasive email (250-300 words) to all the employees in the department. Instead of using an authoritative tone to warn and scold them in the email, you have to tactfully 1) convince the team to follow the code of conduct whether they work in the office or from home, and 2) remind them that it is crucial to maintain a strong sense of team spirit and collaboration, and 3) persuade them to maintain a harmonious working environment in the team You hope that they will serve as a strong sales department and continue playing a vital role in bringing success to the company.
