2.1. A solution containing 0.320 mg/100 mL of compound C (160 g/mol) has a transmittance of 50.0 % in a 2.50 cm cell at 290 nm. Calculate the molar absorptivity of C at this wavelength. (9 % 2.2. If the limit of detection for this spectrometer is met at T = 99.8%, what would be the limit of detection for compound C (in mg/L) for the same cell and spectrometer? (6%) 2.3. The dynamic range for this compound at this wavelength is 102 (1 to 100 LOD). Can you tell what the absorption would be at the upper end of this range for compound C (quantified under these conditions)? (5%)
