A series resonance circuit is used in a 100 kV, 50 Hz AC test on a high voltage cable with a capacitance of 32 nF. The series resistance of the feeding transformer's secondary side together with the resistance of the controllable reactor is 2500 22. (a)Calculate the required value of the inductance that causes resonance. (b) Calculate the output voltage and power of the feeding transformer when the resonance voltage across the test object is 100 kV. (c) Determine the ratio of the power in the cable and the output power of the exciter transformer.
