Part 2: Assignment Question and Case Study Answer the following questions based on the case study in Figure 1. Book Collection & Cafe (BCC) was established in the year 2019. BCC offers a book rental service while customers can also enjoy reading the books in a sweet and nice environment cafe. BCC has been promoting several series of books via Facebook, Instagram and by referrals since established. Then, in March 2020, the Coronavirus pandemic forced bookstores across the world to shut their doors. For that reason, BCC was unable to open a physical store for several months. In this situation, BCC has opened offers to become agent where interested parties were allowed to take the series of books in bulk and sell as much as possible. Some of the books are still new while the remaining books are used. This method seems to be very inefficient due to the pandemic. People less interested with physical books. They might prefer e-book platform since the new norm now has encouraged digital platforms. Furthermore, there were agents who tend to return the books in bad conditions or even mixed-up packages price tag. This has decreased the company sales with the specific agent. The staffs are also finding it difficult to keep track of the popular books which need to be restocked as there are too many papers to handle. This situation is crucial as BOC needs to maintain a smaller number of staffs. Thus, main concern is to provide an online based platform named BCC E-Book Convenient Shops which could boost the business without having to do extra cost such as premise Rentals and staff's salary.
