Use Type III AASHTO Girder 2. Left side shoulder 6 ft 3. Right side shoulder = 10 ft 4. Lane width = 12 ft 5. Deck concrete, fc = 4.5 ksi 6. Beam concrete, f = 8.5 ksi with release strength = 6.0 ksi 7. Substructure (pier cap, column and foundation) concrete fe = 5.5 ksi 8. Unit weight of soil = 110 lb/ft; angle of internal friction = 30" 9. Allowable soil bearing pressure = 4 ksf 10. Minimum vertical clearance between roadway and bottom of girder = 16 ft 6 in. 11.
