400kN (LIVE) and 800kN (DEAD) from a 400 mm square column. Assume
150kN as footing weight. The safe bearing pressure on the soil is
175kN/m2 and the characteristic material strengths are fCU =
35N/mm2 and fY = 460N/mm2.
