The lightest adequate W10 section is be used as a column in a braced frame. The columns and girders at the top and the bottom have been analyzed to indicate G-values of 2.0 and 0.8, respectively. The length of the column is 20 ft. Use the ASD design method to size the column (i.e. choose the lightest W10 section) using load tables (Fy = 50 ksi). (30 pts.) = Pp = 150 k PL = 160k
