Executive Summary : Solar Panel Business : We will be selling and installing solar roof panels in homes and commercial complexes. Due to increasing awareness among customers and government subsidies, there is a huge market demand for solar panels. Also, the cost of solar panels have been decreasing due to advances in technology. The wholly built solar panels will be sourced from China. An exclusive agreement will be entered into with the suitable Chinese suppliers for 5 years. The inventories will be stored in a warehouse a few miles from the city. The demand is expected to grow by 10 to 15% over the next 10 years. Our business will solve the energy generation through renewable sources problem. We will ensure that clean energy is generated which will benefit the environment and guarantee free electricity for people. Also, our solar panels will be used for 20 years with very little maintenance costs. All the additional cost savings will be directly realized by our customers. As per our estimates, for a 1,500 sq,ft. home the cost of installing solar panel is around $ 15,000 which is $3000 less than the average cost. We will keep the cost low by completely shifting the production of solar panels to China and make use of government subsidies.
