What is the correct ICD 10 PCS code?
Procedure Report
Bilateral carotid artery ultrasound
History: Bilateral carotid bruits. Evaluate for possible stenosis of the internal carotid arteries.
Findings: There is a moderate amount of plaque at the carotid bifurcation bilaterally. Elevation of systolic and diastolic velocities in the right internal carotid artery is suggestive of a moderate grade diameter stenosis of 50 to 69 percent, which has progressed since the last study. There is a stable 50 percent or less diameter reduction in the left internal carotid artery. There is normal antegrade vertebral artery flow.
Impression: Progression of stenosis in the right internal carotid artery now estimated to be of moderate grade, 50-69 percent. The left internal carotid artery diameter reduction is 50 percent or less and is stable.
