Each student will locate a scholarly article related to their chosen topic (MUST be the same as your research question) and write a full 2-page content report of the research therein. The report will follow this structure: APA 7 Title Page Introductory Paragraph: Introduce the article, author, and journal. What type of research was conducted? What question(s) did the authors hope to answer with their research? Report Body: How do the author(s) describe current research in the area they are studying? What does other literature say about their topic? Make sure anything you directly use from the article is cited, quotes with quotation marks, author name, year, and page location i.e. (Smith, 2020, p. 23), and paraphrases with author name and year i.e. (Jones, 2019). Include a paragraph discussing the researcher's method of research, their participant/sample, and any bias or assumptions discussed. The final section of the report body should discuss the results, discussion, and conclusions of the article. Concluding Paragraph: Conclude your discussion and presentation of the research article. Make sure to include all components of the article in order to sum it all up. Include how this article influences your ideas on your research topic question/thesis statement. Reference Page: On a new page write the word "References" bolded and centered on the first line. Then include the APA 7 bibliography for the article you are reviewing.
