(c) [10 marks] A particle (with a mass of 2.5×10−18 kg and a charge magnitude of 15μC ) enters a uniform magnetic field B=1.0μT with speed v0​=150 m/s, moves through a half-circle, and then leaves the field, following a path as shown in the figure. i) What is the sign of the charge? ii) Is the final speed of the particle greater than, less than, or equal to v0​ ? iii) Calculate the radius of the half-circle that the particle makes. iv) An electric field E is set up to cancel the magnetic force above. Calculate the strength and direction of the electric field.
