A mass of 1.5 kg is observed to be in Simple
harmonic motion with an angular frequency of 4 rad/s.
The amplitude of the Simple harmonic motion is
seen to decrease over time and careful measurement shows this is
due to a damping coefficient of 0.75 N/m. How long will it
take for the amplitude of the oscillations to halve?
