A researcher wants to test the effects of gratitude journaling on student well-being. Previous findings have shown that people who keep a journal for at least 15 days have an average well-being score of μ= 80 with a o=20. The well-being scale is set up where lower scores indicate lower well-being and higher scores represent higher well-being. Participants in this study were 25 Ph.D. students who kept a gratitude journal for at least 15 days. The well-being means score for participant Ph.D. students was x=92. State the null (Ho) and alternative (H₂) hypotheses, Calculate the SE. What is the z-test statistic?! Do you reject or retain the null?
