BCRHS is a single-locus genetic disorder in sheep caused by amutant allele and heterozygous individuals exhibit severebrachygnathia. Segregation analysis suggests the disorder istransmitted as an autosomal trait with a dominant mode ofinheritance and the mutant allele is lethal to fetuses whenhomozygous.
a) What proportion of progeny will have BCRHS-inducedbrachygnathia when 2 individuals with the disorder are mated?
b) What phenonemon describes this segregation ratio?
