Two capacitors C, and C2 are connected in parallel. The second capacitor has capacitance C2 = 1•10-9 F, the first is a vacuum
capacitor, with surface plates S = 600 cm?, placed at a distance h = 3 mm. Initially, the system of the two capacitors is
charged with a constant electromotive force generator Vo = 400 V placed in parallel to C1 and C2. Subsequently the generator
is disconnected and the space between the plates of the capacitor C is filled with a dielectric of relative dielectric constant Er
= 80. Calculate:
a) the charge variation in the C1 capacitor;
b) the variation of potential at the ends of Ca;
c the work of the field forces in the filling process.
