(Q5) (20 pts) Distribution Function of a Hypothetical Par- ticle While Fermions can occupy an eigenstate with at most one particle, i.e. n = 0 or 1, Bosons can occupy the same state with any number of particles ng = 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, ... This yields particle distribution functions of FD and BE Now imagine an hypothetical particle which can occupy an eigenstate with either 0, 1 or 2 particles: nH = 0, 1, 2. By using the Gibbs factor approach, derive the particle distribution function (μ, e, T) for this hypothetical particle as a function of energy e, chemical potential u, and temperature T. Draw a graph of H as a function of energy e.
