connects (18%) or mechanical defects (82%). Mechanical defects are
related to loose keys (25%) or imprpoper assembly (75%). Electrical
connect defects are caused by defective wires (40%), improper
connections (10%), or poorly welded wires (50%).
(a) Find the probability that a faiure is due to improper
assembly?
(b) Find the probability that a failure is due to defective
wires or improper connections.
(c) Find the probability that a failure is due to loose keys or
improper assembly.
