Part C Acceleration vs. Incline 1. Find the range of error in your accelerations (da) from the uncertainty in your measured times. Use the (sample) standard deviations for your measured times for each angle as the uncertainty in your times (St). That is, given that the time is uncertain to within + dt, what is the uncertainty in the acceleration? 2. Plot the measured acceleration, Anet, (y-axis) vs. sin 0 (x-axis). a. For each data point include error bars. b. The error bars' length will be the magnitude of the da for that data point. © Error bars are vertical lines above and below each data point showing the uncertainty in the value of that data point. 3. With your data points and error bars, draw a best fit line for your graph. 4. Find the slope of your best fit line and record the equation of the line as: (slope) sin e 5. Draw a line that represents as = g sin 0 onto the same graph, from 0 = 0° to your maximum angle. Assess how the plot for Anet compares to as. a.
