Answer question 3 pls
We are examining water samples to detect high and low chemical contamination levels. Assuming we only have one type of contaminant (Nitrogen), here are the data that we collected from a total of 940 water samples. In addition to the high and low contamination levels, we identified in each sample, where the Nitrogen is concentrated (mainly in the bottom of the water sample or in the surface). For example, looking at the table, we identified 246 samples with high Nitrogen levels and the Nitrogen for these samples were mainly concentrated in the surface of water sample. Contamination Bottom Surface level Total Low 514 68 582 112 246 358 High Total 626 314 940 If we randomly take a sample, what is the probability that it contains high Nitrogen level? O 0.11 0.38 O 0.26 O 0.78 O 0.17 Question 3 2.5 pts Considering the previous question, If we randomly take a sample, what is the probability that it contains high Nitrogen level, or it shows the contaminant concentration in the bottom of the water sample (or both)? 0.92 O 0.66 O 0.17 O 0.11 O 1.04
