A system uses a pulley that is made using a small ring of mass mA. The radius ra is attached to a disk of mass me and radius r so they move together. The pulley has blocks m₁ and m₂ attached together by a massless string that wraps over the larger radius of the pulley. Their centers of mass have a vertical separation distance L (not shown in the figure). The system is held in place before being released. Neglect any friction produced by the pulley's rotation once the system is in motion. MB MB m₁ m₂ Use the following values: m₁ = 2.5kg, m₂ = 1.5kg, L = 5m, mA = 1.15kg, rA = .1m, MB = 1.35kg, rB = .15m. I. Using Newton's Second Law of Motion, find the net force on the block m₁ and the net torque acting on the pulley. Be sure to include a Free Body Diagram for m₁ and an Extended Body Diagram for the pulley. Do either of these values change while the system is in motion?
