Methanol and pure oxygen are fed into an isothermal reactor, maintained at 25°C in a 1:1 ratio. The feed rate to the reactor is 480 gmol/min and the reactor operates at steady state. The reactions that take place are as follows: CH,OH (l) + 0,(g)→ HCOOH (l) + H,O (l) (1) CH₂OH (1) + 0₂ (g) → C O₂ (g) → CO₂ (g) + 2H₂0 (1) (2) The exit flow of the reactor was measure to be 520 gmol/min, where the reactor effluent contains formic acid, water, carbon dioxide, methanol and no oxygen. 1.1 Draw a fully labeled diagram for this process (4) 1.2 Determine the heat removed to keep the reactor at constant temperature (24) 1.3 Determine the fractional conversion of methanol (3) 1.4 Determine the fractional conversion of methanol to formic acid (3)
