(www.bea.gov). Assess the recent trends in direct
foreign investment (DFI) abroad by U.S. firms (You may access the
data by clicking on Tools >>> Interactive Data or
Comrehensive data (Other file formats) >> and you will
find "Direct Investment and Multinational Enterprises" and
two parts: "US investment aborad" and "Foriegn Direct Investment in
the United States. You may use either interactive data
base or the historical excel data, which ever is
available.
