A dermatologist randomly assigns half of her
adolescent patients to try a new medicine for acne. The other half
of her patients receive the standard medicine. After two months on
the medicines, the patients who tried the new medicine were more
improved than the patients who received the standard medicine.
this is a observational (study OR experiment) since treatments
(are OR are not) imposed, so causation (can OR can not) be
concluded
