(d) An IEEE wireless LAN uses a 30-byte header and a 4-byte error-check in a trailer. It operates at 50 Mbits/s. Assuming the short interframe space (SIFS) is 10 μs, and the DCF interframe space (DIFS) is 30 us, what is the minimum time taken for the completion of the transmission and acknowledgment of a payload of 1132 bytes, if the payload has to be broken up into 2 fragments? Please note, an acknowledgement (ACK) includes at least a 30-byte header and a 4-byte error-check as well. Also, after the first DIFS, only a SIFS is required between frames and ACKS. [6 marks]
