Please finish all i will give a thumbs up for sure.
Page 7 > of 8 ZOOM The last impact of climate change we will investigate is the increase in sea level. Warmer sea surface temperatures in the upper 700 meters of the oceans have been causing sea levels to rise (warmer water expands). These sea level changes are happening on a global, or custatic, scale. How do we know where sea level was in the Past? Prior to the development of satellite technology, sea levels were measured using coastal tide gauges commonly attached to piers in harbors. Satellites can now detect very small amounts of vertical changes in the height of the sea surface (within a millimeter or two). Tice gauge data from the mid-1900's to the 1990's is the only source of historical long-term sea level measurements. Coastal geologic landforms indicate the locations of sea levels on much longer time scales, c.g., the presence of elevated wave out platforms (marine terraces Figure 5 shows sea level trends from satelite measurements since 1992.
