A three-phase full-bridge SCR rectifier shown in Figure 2 is used to power the highly inductive load. The load inductance is very large. The ac input voltage VuL is 480V (60Hz). The dc output power is 10.5kW and the load resistance is 2002. Answer the following questions. 2.1) Find the firing angle a. (5%) 2.2) Calculate the rms value of fundamental component in the input current. (5%) 2.3) Find the power factor (PF) and total harmonic distortion (THD) of input current.
