In this lab, you will explore the fundamentals of the Nmap
scanning tool to scan a small subnet, identify all hosts on the
subnet including their OS type and services running.
Step 1: First start by issuing the script command to output
your terminal session to a textfile.
Step 2: Perform a network scan using Nmap on the subnet to
identify all hosts on the network.
Step 3: Modify your scan syntax to include each hosts' operating
system type and all services running in
this subnet.
Step 4: Now modify your scan syntax to include grabbing the
banner for all services running in this subnet.
