In the intervention described in Q7, the mean number of
delinquent behaviors among 16 year old adolescents who participated
in the intervention was 1.04 (SD = .08; N = 25); the mean number of
delinquent behaviors for adolescents in the control group was 1.27
(SD = .45; N = 25). Using this information, hand-calculate the
two-sample t-test for the difference between the intervention and
control groups (see the lecture and/or pg436 of your book for the
equation).
Question 9. (5 points)
Use the mean difference and standard error of the
difference you calculated in Q8 to find the power of the two-sample
t-test to find significance at the .05 level. Was the test
adequately powered? Explain why or why not. You must include the
steps you took to obtain your answer
