Data: cereal This dataset contains nutritional data taken from the FDA-mandated food labels from a sample of cereal. The values are based on a single serving of one cup of cereal each. The variables in the dataset are described in the table below. Variable Name Description name Cereal name mfr Manufacturer, represented by its first initial (6 levels) calories Number of calories protein Grams of protein fat Grams of fat sodium Milligrams of sodium fiber Grams of dietary fiber carbo Grams of complex carbohydrates sugars Grams of sugar shelf Display shelf (3 levels) potassium Grams of potassium vitamins Vitamins and minerals (3 levels: none, enriched, or 100%) nofat Whether the cereal has no (zero) fat (TRUE or FALSE)

Problems 1. Conduct the appropriate inferential procedure to determine if there is a relationship between the display shelf and whether the cereal has "no fat." Report the following: a. Type of procedure performed b. Test statistic (round to 2 decimal places) c. P-value (round to 4 decimal places) d. Test conclusion (use .05 significance) 2. Test the claim that the mean sugar content differs depending on display shelf. Report the following: a. Most appropriate visualization to use for data b. Type of procedure performed c. Test statistic (round to 2 decimal places) d. P-value (round to 4 decimal places) e. Test conclusion (use.OS significance) f. Which pairs of shelves have different mean sugar content, based on the appropriate post- hoc procedure (use OS significance) 3. Estimate the linear relationship between fiber (y) and potassium (x). Do the following: a. Find the estimation linear regression equation b. Interpret the slope c. Find the coefficient of determination (keep in decimal form and round to 3 decimal places) d. Find the test statistic for testing there is a linear relationship between x and y (using slope; round to 2 decimal places) e. Find the p-value for testing there is a linear relationship between x and y (using slope; round to 4 decimal places) f. State the test conclusion (use 05 significance)
