A farmer has 2000 meters of fencing to make a rectangular pasture. The pasture is next to a river, so only three sides needed to be fenced in. However the farmer wants to separate the pasture into teo pieces with a segment of fence running through the middle perpendicular to the river. what is the largest pasture the farmer cam build?
