Data from Census 2010 show that 64% of the US population identified as White Non-Hispanic. Moreover, that 500 out 100,000 people were sentenced prisoners in the US in 2010. In addition, 173 out of 100,000 people were White Non-Hispanic and sentenced prisoners. In 2010, what was the probability that a randomly selected person in the US a) was a sentenced prisoner and not White Non-Hispanic? b) was White Non-Hispanic and not a sentenced prisoner? c) was not White Non-Hispanic and not a sentenced prisoner? Consider using a Venn's diagram in this problem -- that is not required, though.
